Navigate New Business was founded by Damon Jones in 2022. With a passion and drive for winning work and all things new business, his 24 years in the construction industry has seen him work across multiple continents and in all major sectors, on projects over AUD$1 billion in value.
Damon started his career as a cadet quantity surveyor in 1999 with Rider Hunt (RLB) in Brisbane. After gaining a thorough background in cost planning and estimating, he took his skills in project costing and value engineering into the specialist field of bid management and strategic new business, predominantly for Tier 1 & 2 builders.
For the past 10 years, Damon has formulated win strategies to secure project tenders for builders, finding the “silver bullet” that sets their offer apart from the competition.
Now at the helm of Navigate New Business, Damon takes a hands-on approach to every project. Our hands-on design managers have practical experience working for medium- and large-sized builders. They are highly skilled at unpacking a project’s design and simplifying details while respecting the architect’s design intent.
